Unzip it, open the osuAccess folder and run osu!.exe to start. Read README.txt if you get stuck.
Important notes
The game works with a few modes. When you first run it, you'll get a tutorial that teaches you everything you need.
- Echo mode — the main mode for mania and taiko. You hear the notes, then you repeat them.
- Lead cue — you press the notes as they come. You hear each one shortly before it arrives, and you need to press it on time.
- Catch has two modes: one where you have 4 lanes and you move to them to catch the fruits as they come, and a free mode where you steer the basket to get them yourself.
- The osu! standard mode is not accessible yet.

The leaderboard
There is a leaderboard for the players who play with this build, because it's unfair to compete on the normal one. It works like this:
- On each song, your score is counted fairly. If you play with fewer keys than the map really has, your score is scaled down by the same amount — 2 keys on a 4-key map counts for half. Echo mode counts for 90%, because the game plays half the notes for you first; lead cue counts in full. Turning hold notes off counts for 85%. Echo at one beat counts for 90% in mania and 85% in taiko, on top of the echo factor. Accuracy is always shown exactly as you earned it.
- Overall, every song's best play is worth its fair score times the song's star difficulty, and your plays count best-first — each next one a little less than the one before. So a hundred easy songs add almost nothing, but beating a hard song well moves you up. It's never how much you played — it's what you played.
You join the board from inside the game with any name you like, and you hear your placement right at the results screen. You can also open the leaderboard.
